Macmillan Coffee Morning 2023!
Today (26th September) we held our annual Macmillan coffee and cake fundraiser, we are so proud to announce we raised a whopping £102.51 in just a couple of hours!
Pupils were able to bring money from home or they could use their school bank account which consists of money they have earnt collecting behaviour/work merits and attendance points. It was lovely to also see some parents/carers/family members popping in for a cuppa, chat and a cake or two.
Our pupils made a wide range of cakes, biscuits and savoury bakes to sell and what a fantastic job they did, from jam tarts to cupcakes, chocolate cakes to biscuits and many more! Mrs Rawson also organised some games; teacup toss, guess the amount faces and guess the amount sweets. We also had a tombola with some great prizes.
A huge thank you to all of our staff, pupils and families who participated in our fundraiser in any way, whether it be donating to our tombola, buying goodies, playing our games or helping set up and run such a successful coffee morning.
Here is Mr Brannan, who won our ‘guess the amount of faces’ competition! He was very proud of himself and has proclaimed that he will be wearing his badge for the foreseeable future.
